Beacon Guided Wildflower Tours

Spending the day in Beacon and are unsure of what to do?
Jump on a bus with our local Historian and take a trip to see various places of interest. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos, do some bird watching, spot the wildflowers and take in the fresh country air. You'll also get to try some of our local produce and relax over a bbq lunch.

MEETING POINT: Make your way to the Community Resource Centre and if you are early enough, enjoy a cuppa. The Tour Guide and Bus Driver will meet you and take you away to your first destination.

Please bring your camera, water, hat, closed in shoes and comfortable clothes. The bus will return to this location by 2pm.

Itinerary: MORNING TEA Morning tea is provided for you, however if you have any dietary requirements you will need to bring your own. You will also get to have a taste test of local producers Sticky Fingers honey. LUNCH Our Tour Guide will cook you up a bushman’s sausage sizzle complete with billy tea for lunch at our famous Billiburning Rock. If you have any dietary requirements you will need to bring your own.

Follow our local Guide through discovery of wildflowers, from everlastings to orchids, rare plants and bush flowers. Also visit rock pools, take in great views and learn a bit about our history of the land that is nature’s greatest gift.
