St. Augustine’s was Consecrated 4/09/1957, after many years of worshipping in the old CWA building. In 1997, following a bequest from Mrs W Medlin, the porch area was added. After the last Stipended priest departed, ministry was provided by a new initiative called T.E.A.M. where congregation members were trained & ordained to serve locally. Ministry was provided by local priests, Rev’ds Peta & Gerry Kirby from 2000 to 2007. They have since retired to Two Rocks but hold Worship Services when possible.
